Introduction

Computer engineers evaluate, design, and maintain computer hardware and software systems. They develop, test, and design, computer processors, circuit boards, and network systems. They resolve problems or address any concerns that occur with the hardware or software and aid in the advancement of computer technology. We at JEC provide students a sound knowledge of Software Development, Information System Design, Digital system, Computer Networking, and Automatic System Designing preparing them to meet the changing demands of national and international organizations and research institutes. JEC is equipped with the modern facility to bestow hands-on experience in the field of computer engineering. The enthusiastic, qualified, and skilled teaching faculties are always willing to guide students theoretically as well as practically.

This program focuses on understanding the fundamental nature of the electronic devices that come in the creation of recent computers and on the elaborated design and organization of such systems, each within the central processing unit and in how larger systems are assembled.

The program incorporates a comprehensive analysis and design course of study that has an excellent, up-to-date education in computer systems with an emphasis on hardware and software systems. But computer-based devices and data networks aren’t the sole products computer engineers develop; they reconstruct genomes, design robots, and develop a software system to create businesses more systematically Besides that, analytical skills, critical thinking, problem-solving, and strong communication skills are a must. You are continually looking for solutions, developing, evaluating, and working with others while working as a computer engineer. Computer engineering students are also expected to be skilled in complex problem solving, speaking effectively to others, active listening, decision making, and operation analysis, among other abilities.

Recognizing the necessity for all-around engineers, we tend to additionally emphasize strong communication and interpersonal skills. They also occupy positions in manufacturing, research, financial services, health, and government, or create their corporations. That’s absolutely the type of invention, innovation, and entrepreneurship that the school of Engineering encourages. This engineering program not only seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic sciences to technology with relevant practice through labs and projects for building problem-solving skills but also keeps industry requirements in place. Our undergraduate programs do not assume that you come to JEC with any previous experience in programming. You can become an expert software engineer through your time and experience at JEC.

This is a lofty ideal, but for generations, the challenge and the opportunity of a  JEC education have attracted bold minds from all walks of life to come here and engage in rigorous inquiry. Regardless of how society advances, critical thinking skills and awareness of connections will always be applicable.
